Biography

Teresita Marzialetti completed her PhD in Chemistry from Universidad de Concepción, Chile, and postdoctoral studies at School of Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. She is an assistant profesor and the director of Catalysis and Biomass Laboratory at School of Engineering at Universidad de Concepción. She has published more than 30 journal and conference papers and has been serving as peer reviewer of many international journal of repute, and holds two patents. Her research interest is biomass conversion and valorization using thermochemical and biochemical pretreatment and processes involving heterogeneous catalysis. She is been also working on simulation and exergoenergetic analysis of biomass conversion processes.
