Dr. Gokare Aswathanarayana Ravishankar Fellow, Elected 2003 Born in Bangalore, India on 12 February 1954. Educated at Vijaya High School, Bangalore, 1964-68; Vijaya College, Bangalore, 1968-72; Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, 1973-80; B.Sc. 1972; M.Sc. 1975; Ph.D. 1981.
